Peer Evaluation update...

We have visited 10 House Projects across England and Scotland in the past few months and interviewed over 25 young people using our Peer Evalution framework to assess the effectiveness of the National Hosue Projects practice framework (ORCHIDS). It has been busy but very rewarding for us as peer researchers but also for the care experienced people we have interviewed. We have been overwhelmed by the commitment from staff and young people in House Projects to use this opportunity to shape the development of their Hosue Projects.

We have interviewed our peers in parks, on beaches and in coffee shops and have welcomed the opportunity to get to know new people and listen to their experiences. We know our work will shape the development of House Project for our peers that follow, for us knowing our voice will be listended to and acted on is meaningful involvment in service development.

The National House Project have given us the tools and autonomy to plan, design and implement our Peer Evalution Framework and we are now looking forward to analysing our findings with support from expert analysts at our residential in the Lake District next week.
