Strength

People say I’m loud

I am being me -  I am proud

Strength is what I’ve gained

From the experiences sustained

Living on my own I was afraid

Surviving, but the bills are being paid

Improvements along the way

Maturity I had to display

Sometimes I broke down crying

Wondering if you noticed me trying

Succeeding, unlike before

Battling from the core

Climbing my way to the top

I will continue to fight - non-stop

I grew up with no one guiding me through

Now I battle and I fight to pursue

I am so strong - I now know where I belong

Independence is key - Keep battling u will see

Remember no matter what you are going through - smile

I guarantee everything will get better in a while
